Don Lemon Tonight Ratings
Don Lemon Tonight (formerly CNN Tonight with Don Lemon) is a two-hour weeknight news show featuring spirited interviews and commentary on the day's biggest news stories, broadcast on CNN and CNN International. The primetime program, which airs live at 10pm/ET from Time Warner's studios at 30 Hudson Yards, New York City, brings factual insights and analysis to the major news developments of the day, candid conversations without talking points or spin, and late-breaking news that become the following morning's headlines. CNN Tonight debuted in 1985 but was pushed off-air by the premier of Larry King Live. It was, however, revived to its current format in April 2014 as a replacement for Piers Morgan Live amid a new primetime schedule.
Don Lemon Tonight is presented by veteran journalist and news anchor Don Lemon, who has been with the cable news network since September 2006. A recipient of the Edward R. Murrow Award and three regional Emmy Awards, Lemon has reported and/or anchored on-the-scene for CNN from several breaking news stories, including Hurricane Florence (2018), Las Vegas shooting (2017), Orlando shooting at Pulse Nightclub (2016), and the Charleston church shooting (2015). Prior to joining CNN, Lemon served as co-anchor for the NBC5 News 5pm newscast in Chicago. He has also worked as correspondent for NBC News in New York, anchor/general assignment reporter for WCAU-TV in Philadelphia, and investigative reporter for KTVI-TV in St. Louis.
