Deadline: White House is an American news and politics television program airing weekdays from 4 to 6 p.m. ET on MSNBC. The show is hosted by NBC News senior political analyst Nicolle Wallace. Drawing on years of experience as communications chief for President George W. Bush and senior advisor for the McCain-Palin campaign, Wallace provides political insight and clarity on where the decision-makers stand on complex issues as she analyzes and discusses with the key news-makers. Deadline was created on May 9, 2017 as a late afternoon political interview and discussion show, similar in style to the network's morning program, Morning Joe.
Nicolle Wallace served as the White House Communications Director during the presidency of George W. Bush and in his 2004 re-election campaign and also as a senior advisor for John McCain's 2008 presidential campaign. Prior to these, Wallace was briefly an on-air reporter in California, where she started her political career working in state politics. In 1999, she moved to Florida to serve as Governor Jeb Bush's press secretary and then became the Communications Director for the Florida State Technology Office in 2000. Nicolle Wallace is the author of the contemporary political novels Eighteen Acres, It's Classified, and Madam President.
