Joyce RhonasMay 26, 2022 04:02 GMTStephanie Ruhle simply isn't a good fit for "The Eleventh Hour!" I have tried to be objective and tried 15 minutes of viewing of her program in segments different nights. NO. This program under her hosting is 60 points short of 100. I used to DVR this program & watch
every episode each week---that was when Brian Williams was at the helm. PLEASE stop the Stephanie Ruhle torment to viewers in this time slot.
DebbyApr 15, 2022 07:04 GMTStephanie is Unrelatable, cocky, and in authentic and boring. Good luck MSNBC because she has become to gruesome to watch.
ScottApr 29, 2022 17:41 GMTAmen to this comment. SR = no bueno.
SnoopyMar 15, 2022 20:07 GMTIt's been two weeks, since Stephanie Ruhle took over as permanent host of The 11th Hour, sure change takes time and there's an adjustment period, but I just can't seem to get into the groove of adjusting to this broadcast news delivery. I'm very used to watching Nicolle, Ari, Mehdi, Ali, Chris, and of course Rachel, Lawrence and Brian Williams.
Chris Jansing was just right for this. I won't be tuning in anymore. The 11th Hour hosting position was always going to be difficult to fill, who could fill Brian Williams' big shoes?
Ali Velshi & Chris Jansing would have been the best choices with their style of delivery.
Nobody needs high pitch/screech late at night after a long day.
ElenaApr 21, 2022 18:33 GMTMy fondest hope is that Brian Williams decides that he needs to get back in to the 11:00 seat! Barring that, Chris Jansing would be my pick. She is professional, poised and easy to listen to (a bit like a female version of Brian ;-) I cannot stand to listen to Stephanie Ruhle for more than five minutes. I find myself watching her odd facial expressions, and cannot stand her voice or delivery style. Please replace her!
ScottApr 29, 2022 17:41 GMTAmen. I don’t watch SR after Brian left… I guess she’s ok. Nobody is better than BW
ChrisMar 9, 2022 08:53 GMTVelshi was the obvious choice, can’t understand what msnbc was thinking. Brian had some big shoes to fill but Stephanie doesn’t come close. I tried but can’t watch.
Jay BonaMar 24, 2022 19:32 GMTStephanie Rhule am sure is a lovely person, but she is very irritating, I
just can't adjust to her. Ali Velshi would have been the logical choice, he has put in his time.I also thought Chris Jansing was very good.
JoanMar 5, 2022 08:14 GMTStephanie Ruhle may present as a financial expert but cannot carry the 11th Hour. She seemed too cocky and smug when she and Ali Velshi were hosting together but, in reality, he is the one who was the draw. I never missed 11th hour when Brian Williams hosted but now have decided that I no longer need this show to stay informed. Stephanie Has neither the intellect of Ali nor the charm and wit of Brian. Sorry, nothing personal.
elsaMar 6, 2022 16:27 GMTI was hoping it would be Ali. Stephanie more appropriate for day time.
K. JeanApr 16, 2022 14:09 GMTI have stopped watching the 11th Hour completely. So disappointed who was chosen to replace Brian. (Can we beg him to come back???) Anyone would have been better! You should have nabbed Wallace when he left Fox!! I would have even watched him!!
So many better choices!! 🥱🥱🥱
KCarterApr 28, 2022 10:11 GMTYes, I liked Chris Wallace and was very disappointed in his switch to Fox - I think he could actually be a pretty good BW replacement, if anyone can replace him.
CarolynApr 26, 2022 00:55 GMTNOPE. She is not the right replacement for Mr. Williams
Ghost of KyivMar 15, 2022 03:59 GMTAli Velshi, Ari Melber, Ayman Mohyeldin or even Mehdi Hasan would have been so much better. Rhule is a square peg in a round hole and even looks uncomfortable in the seat. She lacks the laid back, matter-of-fact demeanor of her predecessor. Her challenging and contentious approach is not what (as least I) am looking for at that hour.
This is not a gender thing, I love Maddow so save that argument.
BTW, when MSNBC puts Maddow together with Reid and Wallace for special coverage it is UNWATCHABLE— a group of giggling teens who loose their focus.
I switch to CNN at 11:00 now. Can't do it... sorry MSNBC, you blew this one— BAD!
KarenApr 21, 2022 21:08 GMTOh - you are SO right about the 'giggling teens' comment! It was SO UNprofessional - I couldn't believe what I was seeing (a few minutes and I turned it off). Oh how I miss Brian Williams . . . .
